Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you register, we collect your username, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text). When you join networks, book mentors, or register for events, we store those records to deliver the service.

Analytics

We use analytics to understand which networks and mentors members search for, so we can grow the things that matter to you. Analytics are gated behind cookie consent — if you decline, no analytics data is collected. We do not sell data.

Cookies

We set a session cookie for authentication and a consent cookie that records your analytics preference. No third-party tracking cookies are set before you grant consent.

Mentorship sessions

Booking details (topic, scheduled time, notes) are shared with the mentor you book. They are not shared with anyone else. Payment processing (when enabled) routes through a regulated payment processor — we never store full card or bank details.

Third parties

We display Google AdSense advertisements. Until you accept the consent banner, ads serve in non-personalized mode using Google Consent Mode v2. After accepting, ads may be personalized using cookies set by Google. Google's privacy policy governs data collected by their advertising systems.

Data retention & deletion

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing reach-us@africanwo.men.
